Key outcomes of the International Bus & Coach Exhibition AutoBusExpo 2026
From August 18 to 21, 2026, International Bus & Coach Exhibition AutoBusExpo 2026 was held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow. This is a key event for the passenger transport market, held as part of the AutoCluster of industry exhibitions, together with the Big Test Drive of Commercial Tansport ComAutoTrans and the International Trade Fair for Automotive Industry InterAutoMechanica.

This year, 27 603 visitors attended the events in person to find effective solutions for business growth. The project is implemented by Sigma Expo Group LLC, the organiser of COMvex — Leading Trade Fair for Commercial Vehicles and Technologies in Russia.

Holding the exhibition ahead of the autumn business season allowed participants to prepare effectively for fleet renewal. Among the exhibitors at AutoBusExpo were Transport Center (Yutong, ASIASTAR, AVIOR brands), МZКТ, AutoRetail Group (official dealer of the GAZ brand), ParadAuto‑M, SGM AUTO GROUP, ADVERS, BUS MOTORS, Zapad‑Ural‑Vostok, Emcar, and others.
Results of the Autotransport Forum
The business program of the International Bus & Coach Exhibition brought together heads of transport companies, government officials, operators, manufacturers, and distributors.

The forum opened with a panel discussion on the cost structure of passenger transportation. The participants discussed tools for reducing expenses, the impact of the recycling fee, and the cost of borrowed capital.Among the key speakers were Alexey Zotov, Chairman of the Commission for the Development of Passenger Transportation at the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport of Russia and Boris Pravilov, General Director of the National Transport Association.

The strategic session focused on the implementation of digital services, the use of artificial intelligence for demand forecasting, and the creation of a unified digital framework for passenger transportation. Speakers included Alexey Makarov, Operations Director at Yandex Transport, Maxim Murzin, Director of the Government Projects Department at GLONASS JSC and Evgeny Nikolaev, Managing Partner at SberTroika.

The session “Development of the Production Base for Passenger Transport” addressed the systemic issue of the shortage of bus fleets and the search for financial mechanisms to modernize the infrastructure. The session was moderated by Vladimir Pashchenko, Director of the Academy of Transport Planning at MIIT. Speakers also included Dmitry Titov, Executive Director of the National Transport Association.
“The program and presentations were very interesting. The topics are highly relevant, which is why specialists from various fields gathered at the forum to discuss them from different perspectives — legislation, practice, design, construction, and economics. We can see emerging points of convergence between government regulation, the commercial aspect and the enterprises”.

Significant attention was given to workforce issues at the expert session “Finding and Retaining Drivers.” The session was moderated by Evgenia Norbaeva, Head of ANCOR Drive. Speakers included Mikhail Gorach (APH ECO‑Culture) and Evgenia Shaginova, Head of the Recruitment Department at National Carrier JSC.

The forum partners were: COMVEX Review and Autopark 5 Koleso magazines, the Commission for the Development of Passenger Transportation at the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, AutoGruzEx and Gruzautotrans associations, the National Transport Association, the Institute for Transport Development, ANCOR, Synergy University.
